On the news archives page, you will find stories that have moved off of the main page.
The main page will hold one or two pre-event or a post-event stories at a time, and then the archives will hold older stories that customers, potential customers and friends still have interest in.
These stories will be the same as they were on the main page, complete with pictures. After we collect enough stories that space is too full, we will have a list with links. Then a page will open for each year of stories; 2007, 2008 etc.
The stories will be done in Associated Press style, as they would appear if Mongoose did a newspaper.
"There will even be quotes from team people and the driver," spokesman said.
There may be stories about good test days, updates from multi-day events. News stories might be event results, event previews, or even news about making news.
"Like the Kit Car Magazine story about the London Cobra Show," spokesman said.
The idea is for the news archives to be the place to look to see the recent history of Mongoose and their results on track. Some of the people that follow Mongoose as a race team might not be customers today, but if we can make them fans, they may very well become customers tomorrow.
